Introduction to Chair Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation

My name is Julie Babudro. I would like to offer an introduction to chair yoga and meditation.

I have been certified in Dartmouth, NS and in Lenox, Massachusetts to lead safe, slow and relaxing movements for all levels, a gentle class which helps to increase one’s range of motion and flexibility. Mindfulness based meditation is an integral aspect of this class, and we will close with minutes of led mindful meditation, based on compassionate self observation.

We move slowly and let our bodies rest briefly in various stretches, finding our own individual range of motion. We practice calm breathing and mindful moments of stillness and movement.

I would like to offer this calm and gentle class in an easily accessible space, with chairs for 12 to 20 people.

I believe it is an important exercise for all to try. It is good for our bodies and our minds! Mindfulness is growing in popularity, it is simple, and helpful. Participants enjoy numerous benefits both during and after each session.
