A brief explanation of Mindfulness in Motion Chair Yoga

Movement for Mobility and pain reduction with introductory Chair Yoga

With calm and purposefully slow gentle stretching, we expand our personal range of movement, we practice calm breathing and mindful moments of stillness.

Mindfulness recently popular in psychology is being taught for mental health, but also for much needed physical wellness and peace of mind.

I have been certified to share these relaxing experiences and have developed knowledge and practice in my own life over the course of many years since 1989.

In our introductory classes we move comfortably in a chair for 30 minutes followed by mindfulness based meditation, a simple practice consisting of relaxed and compassionate self observation techniques.

I would be happy to answer any questions.

Sincerely,
